Photostation no. 13: The Rock Circle

Below left, the large Cottonwood tree marks the west bank of the stream at the edge of the Rock Circle terrace. The Rock Circle is behind the tree at the far end of the open grassy area and to the right. Middle & right, views of the floodplain from the same location looking downstream.

Below left, the tent is parked inside the rock circle (a structure laid down by campers in years gone by). The view is toward the southwest. Middle: another view nearby. Right: a view from beyond the northern edge of the grasses looking toward the south.
