New website materials July 2007 through January 2008 "Our Lands & Their Creatures"/Lands: San Pedro River Valley: This section marked the most striking changes in our website coverage during this time, as an entirely new website -- http://www.sanpedrorivervalley.org -- was developed in cooperation with the Cascabel Working Group, in order to oppose the Arizona Department of Transportation's proposal to build an Interstate Highway Bypass through the Middle San Pedro Watershed. See that series of pages, and also the CWG's website, http://www.i10bypassinfo.us/ . Front page: "What's New": "Community Garden" frontpage now divided into Circular Gardens -- these are kept updated as new plantings/weedings/harvestings occur, with images -- and Wildlands Gardens, featuring our mesquite processings and Daniel Baker's work harvesting and processing various other wild plants. Casual sightings: A number of new entries since July: Owlflies, Cholla bird nests, Nursery Web Spiders, Ferruginous Hawk, unusual landscape views. People page: a number of new images in our Rogue's Gallery. Weather/Climate: Click on (3) "Seasonal Schedules: Monthly Changes in the Biome" to see an upgraded page on this subject.
