EXPRESSIVE ARTS RETREAT AT HOT SPRINGS CANYON, CASCABEL -- November
4-6, 2005

During this two-day retreat, you are invited to rediscover your
connection to the natural world in this beautiful desert canyon. As
our human species has done across cultures throughout time, we will use
music, movement, creative language and image-making to explore and
express our relationship to the land. Not an artist, musician, poet,
dancer? Don't be concerned. Just be willing to let yourself play in
new ways.

The retreat will include both solitary and group times. We will camp
out near the windmill ramada, cook our meals together outside, and
share an evening campfire.

Participants need to be prepared to camp in Sonoran desert fall
weather, which can be anywhere from hot and dry to cold and raining.

You will bring your own lunch food and we will share planned potluck
meals for breakfasts and Saturday dinner.

Group Retreat activities will start at 10:00 am Saturday, November 5,
and end at 3:00 pm Sunday the 6th. Participants are invited to arrive
on Friday afternoon, for more extensive personal outdoor time, to help
us slow down from our busy lives and center into a quieter place.
Friday arrivals will need to show up well before sunset (by 5:00 PM),
to find camping sites and set up tents, etc. Saturday arrivals will
have time to set up camp before dinner.

Retreat leader: Eleanor Dart. Eleanor is an artist, musician and
poet who uses the Expressive Arts in her work as both a counselor and
leader of retreats and playshops.
